Update

Banword has been improved, it has now more functionality and April is now able to ignore commands on channel or by a role

Patch note 1.1.8 landed on 05/10/2019 with a refreshed banword service and new controls that let April ignore commands in specific channels or from specific roles.

Dashboard changes

Banword

Banword configuration now lives entirely on the dashboard. You can add phrases with whitespace, toggle case sensitivity and exact match checks, and configure global settings such as custom warn messages (plain text or embed), whether warnings are sent via DM or in-channel, and whether bots or moderators are ignored for testing.

April can now be disabled in specific channels, ignore users with particular roles, or restrict command usage to allowed roles. When a channel is ignored, other services (reaction role, banword, etc.) continue to operate. If an allowed role is defined, April skips ignored role checks and only listens to users with the allowed roles.
